Prior to there being a University of Iowa Museum of Art, annual summer art festivals were a way to promote art and culture in eastern Iowa. This digital collection contains the digitized programs from these festivals. Many of the works described in the programs were purchased for the Museum when it was opened in 1969. Several programs are missing from The Libraries collection, and it is hoped that this digital collection will help us locate the remaining programs on campus and in private collections.
