Dear cousin i seet my self to inform you that i am well at this time and hope that when this comes to hand it will find you well. Eley i recieved your kind and welkim noat and read it with pleasure i am truly glad to think i shell see you soon for i am agoing to get out of the survis in to or three dayes and i am agoing to come to see you and stay all winter with my friends it is of no use to sind my uglyness to you for i will come in too weeks at the furthest so i shell go home for a while and then i will come to see you if i do i will stay with Robert i will want to know whether their is any young ladyes that whishes to marry a soldier if they do
