Full Text	Brownsville Texas Sept. 4th 1865 Dear Father I drew my pay to day & for fear I shall loose it, have made up my mind to express 350 dollars to you, to be taken care of for me. I send it by Adams Express Co. I am well - commenced writing a letter to day, but have not finnished it did not make up my mind to express my money until tonight, & now I have not time to write much but will mail a letter soon.
