Sunday, May 1st. the 2nd Div 14th AC still at Rosville Ga.
Monday, 2nd - Marched to Ringgold distance 12 mi
Tuesday, - 3rd.
Wedn. - 4th
Th. - 5th the Div mar one mile south of Taylors Rridge; The 34th went back to Ringgold to obain new guns & get mail Saw some of the 75th
Fri. 6th
Sat, 7th Div marched to Buzard Roost skirmishing all the way. the 4th AC. took Tunnel Hill
Sunday, 8th Cos A F & B went on picket Sat eve came of Sun. P.M. & the regt was sent to take a position on a hill. Co A deployed as skirmishers. waded Mill Creek took a hill & fought till dark; then went to camp.
Mon. 9th fighting all day in front of us. 34th engaged for two hours on Rocky Face Ridge. Cos D & J lost several men on the skirmish line.
Tues, 10th 75th & 34th met; rain the PM & night.
Wedn 11th Cool weather. we get mail to day.
Th, 12th the 14th AC marched all day & till 2 at night to reinforce McPherson on the right flank.
