Full Text	Bloomfield Iowa August 25th 1896, Dear Clara, I have seen the masters and you will have the refusol of one of the school marms. They want you to come and teach here the most kind, Dr. Dunn says that you must come by all means. I got home on Sunday evening just in time to hear the perosation of Mr. Ross' lecture, it was good. I wish you were here to hear him, his lectures are full of logic and [noti?] eloquence. Blame me not Clara for doing that which I cannot help. My heart compells me to give it rest, and if I should withhold the very stones would cry out.
