Full Text	Newport Sept the 28, 1845 Dear Father and Mother I again take my pen in hand to informe you that wee are all well. and hoting this May find you enjoying the same blesing from God. I have not heard from any of you since last May and it seemes an age to me some times I imagin that thare has something serious hapend thare. and you hate to write and again I think that you are all enjoying yourselvs to gether and donot think of me and how glad I wood be to hear from home I have the promice of going home next spring if there is any good chance to go and wee kepe well. Uncle Arby and litle Pursis was hear and stayed a fiew dayes about to months ago. Arby was verry harty but Purses was verry unwell and looked bad Watkin has had a leter from thare sence and they were all well. Purses had got quite well again. John says that I had beter wait and not go home till I get abel to take Mother a nice present. I am afraid I cant wat that long. and so I tell him that grandMother wood be gest as glad to seme if I did not take her as nice a present. Uncle David is away on buisnes he has ben gone to weeks. I hardly now whare but some part of Ohio I think. I saw grand Pa Newel on the stret the other day and he said he did not hardly now whare Powell was
