Full Text	Redoak Feb 12th /65 Dear son Three weeks have passed since you left us your visit though short was pleasent to us we received your letters from Baltimore & N.Y. also your beautiful and valuable present of furs which brings the dear donor to mind every time we see them we are all well as usual. The weather remains the finest imaginable for Winter I have sold the [colt?] Horse to Burnam for $200.00 I have also sold my beef cattle and am hauling off my oats and have invested $500.00 in 7 30/100 bonds I went to see Joshua & Ellen yesetrday They are well Ant Ellen expects to be married to Robt Perie next week
