ATTORNEY AT LAV/
DES MOINES, IOWA
August 13, 1964-
Mr. Nile Kinnick,
1114- South 79th St.,
Omaha, Nebr,
Dear Nile:
I Em enclosing some clippings from the August
10th Register. Mary Jane is sending you under separate
cover issues of the News that came out the week before
and the week after the dedication ceremony. As you
will note the section of the News which shows the
program and the advertisements in regard to the Fair
is' simply a special section. In the follow-up
edition there is a good picture on the second page as
well as the coverage on the first page of the paper.
I am enclosing a letter received from Frank
Carideo, and I had a nice letter from Ken Pettit,
attorney at Manchester, in which he expressed his regret
he could not be on hand.
In most cases ^ sent invitations to former
teammates who were located fairly close to this area.
I have heard many compliments on your remarks.
All in ell we felt it was a fine ceremony.
With best wishes.
Sincerely yours,
KinfesS^M. Clarke
