London 18 May, 1858.
My dear Mr. Hunt:
After some search I have found you letter authorizing me to make an arrangement with Mr. Trübner for an English Edition of your Poems, and herewith return it as a matter of prudent precaution, as matters now stand. Its restoration takes all authority from me, & places it in your own hands, as it was before. I regret my failure in the matter; but shall not cease to use

Not having heard from you, I rest satisfied that you continue to improve in health, & hoping my conjecture is correct, I beg you to accept the sincere well-wishes of Your most obt . servant & friend B.
