Kensington, Sep. 30, Sir, The accompanying letter to me from my friend Mr. Henry Cole will explain the liberty which I take in thus addressing you. The bearer, my youngest son, is the person of whom the letter speaks. He is anxious to be more profitably employed than he is at present: he has always been zealous for the welfare of the Exhibition; and if any work in it /can/ could be found for him, of which your examination should find him capable, I can only say, that a more trustworthy person does not exist, or one more sensible of any kindness that is shewn him.
