My dear Hunt
Many thanks. Ditto for Dunlop which Vincent takes to you.
I have suffered grievously from cold or I should have gone to you on Saturday.
I much regret the breaking up of our party fixed for tonight and think the cause was scarcely sufficient.
May we not, some night shortly, pick up the fragments-- the daintiest ones--and have a more select and quiet evening with them.
Shall you be in town this week? If so write a single line by the post and say the day and hour that I may be
