| Description | Engraved throughout. "Dedie a Sa Majeste le Roi de Naples." Inscribed "Imbault" in ink on engraved t.p. of pt. 1 of both v. Pl. no.: 235, 244; v. 1, p. 11 and v. 2, p. 12 lack plate numbers. Nos. 12-13 in a collection bound as partbooks in 4 v. with binder's title: Quatuors de Pleyel. T.p. supplied in ms. for 2nd violin, viola, and violoncello parts; titles vary in fullness from printed t.p. Vol. no. supplied in ink on t.p.; parts also numbered p. 235-266 (1st violin), p. 194-219 (2nd violin), p. 182-205 (viola), and p. 172-199 (violoncello) reflecting pagination within each partbook; individual quartets also numbered 49-54 in ink to reflect position in collection. "RB" stamped in red ink on t.p. and elsewhere in all parts. |
