| Description | Originally for violin, violoncello, and piano, arr. for string quartet. Engraved throughout. Title of v. 2 varies slightly: Trois quatuors de Igna. Pleyel.... Imprint of v. 2 lacks phrase 'et cidevant 92.' Inscribed 'Sieber' in ink on engraved t.p. of violino primo part only for extant volumes. Pl. no.: 1358, 1388. Library’s set of parts bound as partbooks in commercial library binding. Parts for violono 2do., alto, and basso lack t.p. Individual quartets in each set of parts numbered in ink on every page, in order, 52, 53, 54, 49, 50, and 51, presumably reflecting inverted order of the two v. within each of an earlier set of partbooks. T.p. of v. 1, part 1, inscribed in ink in upper left corner: A, with 'Cambini' underneath. |
