Description	Printed using Reinhard’s stereotype printing process. "Dédiés à son ami Louis Bocherini." "B. Zix, Delin. & Sculpsi." Illustrated t.p. of violino primo part shows figure sitting above in cloud, playing a lyre; figure on lower left holding shield on which is printed: Brevet d’invention, caractères mobiles et planches solides, systême, fonerie et imprimerie de F. Reinhard; and angelic figure with wings with a cornucopia on his left, holding a large medallion with a bas relief identified as I. Gutenberg. The medallion is also supported in part by a cherub, who is also supporting a set of alphabet and musical-symbol blocks. Remaining parts have a label on t.p. with decorative border surrounding text "9e. Oeuvre de quatuors de Pleyel" followed by part designation (violino secondo, alto, and basso). Parts bound individually in paper covers, with reinforced inner margins and a mix of saddle stitching and adhesive binding, trimmed to 34 cm. Parts housed in commercial library portfolio.
