BOB GORDON
Some audiences want to be informed.
Others prefer entertainment.
You can please both groups by having two programs, or you can please everybody at once by booking
Brilliant Caricaturist, Satirist and Character Analyst
What I Know About you
BOB GORDON
will interest every person in the audience, because he deals with that fundamental of success and popularity—the art of knowing how to deal with others.
Illustrating his points with a lightning crayon, Bob Gordon quickly debunks the unusual abracadabra of the quack physiognomist, then demonstrates that there is much that can be told about a person's temperament, personality, and proneness to action by easily-recognized signs. Yet so light is his touch, so quickly does laugh follow laugh, that his listeners are scarcely aware that they are absorbing information until they find themselves stealing covert glances at their neighbors as a quick check on the accuracy of the speaker.
WHAT I KNOW ABOUT YOU
is a flexible program that can be slanted to any particular type of audience. And Bob Gordon fits his time into the schedule, speaking anywhere from 30 to 75 minutes. After a question and answer period, he illustrates the points he has made by calling upon volunteers from the audience. These he hilariously caricatures with a few deft strokes of his crayon, at the same time giving each a brief, humorous personality analysis. It's grand fun.
When so desired, Bob Gordon will remain after the program to draw small, souvenir-sized caricatures and read the personalities of all who are interested. He can handle about 50 caricatures an hour, and will draw as long as there are persons waiting. This extra value for the one fee is offered by nobody else on the lecture platform.

BOB GORDON
MAJOR ROBERT W. GORDON,
U. S. Marine Corps, retired, refuses to take himself too seriously. With the dignified background of soldier, editor and author, he prefers to be known as Bob Gordon, under which informal by-line his work has been appearing for years.
As an author, Bob Gordon's satire has appeared in ATLANTIC MONTHLY and in a syndicated newspaper column of editorial comment. His pithy paragraphs have been published in SATURDAY EVENING POST and READER'S DIGEST. His interviews of screen and radio celebrities have appeared in RADIO GUIDE and the metropolitan newspapers. He has been a regular contributor to POPULAR MECHANICS and similar publications, and is the author of dozens of detective and western stories. He has been an editor of MECHANIX ILLUSTRATED, THE PATHFINDER, and the INFANTRY JOURNAL.
BOB GORDON PLEASES HIS AUDIENCES
Michigan State College, East Lansing, S. E. Crowe
We were very happy to have the privilege of presenting Major Bob Gordon with his unique program on caricatures and character readings. It is a very interesting program, different and of great interest to our students. He is generous with his cartoons and characters.
Catholic Woman's League, Joliet, Ill., Mrs. James M. Haley, Program Chairman
Everyone was highly amused and happy they braved the sleet and snow to hear him.
North Suburban Woman's Club, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Edw. Bertrand
Enjoyed by everyone. He was mobbed for caricatures to be drawn and it was very entertaining.
Central Mfg. District Kiwanis Club, Chicago, Stewart W. Knarr
Was everything your descriptive material predicted. He proved very popular at our Ladies Night dinner program.
Beverly Hills Woman's Club, Chicago, Ill., Hermine M. Schnura
The best program we could have had for the ending of the year. The serious side of his talk was very informative, and, of course, the fun part of it had everyone in gales of laughter. Whenever anyone mentions Bob Gordon it is with a laugh, and what better seed could one sow than the one of laughter.
Woman's Club, Floosmor, Ill., Mrs. Harold Secor
This was by far the best program we have had this club year. Our husbands were guests that night and they all agreed it was worth coming out for.
Edison Park Methodist Men's Club, Chicago, Ill., F. B. Henderson
Very satisfactory. His appeal to children between 8 and 16 was especially good.
Omaha Technical High School, C. G. Linn
The pupils liked him. That is the principal test.
Rotary Club of Indianapolis, Wilbur T. Gruber, Assistant Secretary
Made a very satisfactory appearance on our program, and it was a welcome departure from routine. It was interesting and highly entertaining. He concluded with some drawings of some
horrible examples
from the audience and the subjects, themselves, as well as the drawings, were responsible for a great deal of laughter.
Men's Club, 1st Presbyterian Church, Oshkosh, Wis., E. F. Steck
Excellent. His lecture and manner of presentation most unusual and very well received. He has a winning personality and continuous patter of wit which made everyone feel sorry that time passed so quickly.
E. L. Chester Co., Beloit Wis., L. E. Tarr, Secretary-Treasurer
A very fine program well adapted to the type meeting we have. He is entertaining and as a character analyst, he is good.
Niles, Mich., City Club, Andrew R. Mollison, Program Chairman
Major Bob Gordon was terrific at our Ladies' Night last Tuesday and remarks were made that it was the best Ladies' Night we have ever had. We highly recommend him to any organization such as ours.
Emmanuel Missionary College, Berrien Springs, Mich., C. S. Field
His program was entertaining, instructional and inspiring.
Appleton, Wis., Educational Asso., R. N. Shreve, President
Mr. Gordon is a real entertainer. The members of our association thoroughly enjoyed his presentation. Bob Gordon is the best program we have had in four years.

He is a creator of laughs. Has a winning personality, and each one present enjoyed every minute of his unusual program. He was great.
