MR. BAKER WYNNE, the Welsh Soprano, has been possessed from childhood of a most phenomenal voice, though as a child he did little singing. To this fact some attribute the retention of the pure soprano or contro-tenor quality. His first appearance in solo was at the age of fifteen before a vast audience at the Central Y. M. C. A., Exeter Hall, London, England. From that time he was in constant demand at public concerts, great theatrical gatherings and other important occasions, some of which numbered among their attendants the most notable personages in the King's Dominion.
When twenty years of age he began his studies with Signor Mascarella, a well-known Italian tenor in London, and he enjoyed at the same time the expert oversight of the late Signor Mascheroni, composer of For All Eternity. Signor Mascheroni frequently accompanied him in his own songs. After finishing his course of training under Signor Mascarella he was able, through the Signor's influence and his own superior work, to obtain positions with some of the best choirs in London and appear among the most exclusive circles of the metropolis.
His special aim in coming to this country is to introduce some of the famous English ballads to the American public. Some of these have never before been sung in this country. Not only will these songs be of special interest to American audiences, but Mr. Wynne's rendition of them will be a delight to his hearers everywhere.
A well-known London critic writing for an English publication says of Mr. Wynne's singing: Then there was Mr. Baker Wynne, described as the 'Welsh Male Soprano.' If you close your eyes while Mr. Wynne is singing you can easily persuade yourself that you are listening to a highly musical young lady, so complete is the soprano music that is handed out. I don't know why some men should be favored with voices of special timbre in this way, while others have to put up with voices of the ordinary kind, but it's another proof that Nature has her favorites. I am not musical enough to know whether Mr. Wynne's soprano voice is the result of an accident or design, but the effect is certainly very pleasing, and the singer was rewarded with an encouraging storm of applause.
MISS STELLA PRICE, violinist, is among the most promising young women in the West in her chosen occupation. She has studied music from early childhood and is an accomplished pianist and most excellent violinist. Her violin studies were pursued in Chicago, her last teacher being the widely known Mr. Hermann, who ranks among the foremost violin teachers in this country.
MISS LUCILE STERLING PRICE is a young woman of charming personality, who is not only an impersonator but an interpreter of the best literature. She reflects great credit upon her Alma Mater, the Columbia School of Expression, Chicago. We predict for her the most pronounced success as a popular entertainer.

THE GAZETTE, WALES:
—Mr. Baker Wynne's visit was the last, probably, for many years. He leaves our shores for the broader fields of the States and he carries with him every good wish that his career may be a long and distinguished one. His singing on Sunday touched high-water mark, and the pleasure he afforded, and the interest elicited in his future welfare accounted for the magnificent reception accorded him.
Miss Lucile Price took the leading part in Bethlehem, the nativity play given by the Chicago Women's Club in Music Hall, December 30, 1908. Everyone was deeply satisfied with her presentation, and the play was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
A. HOFER, SEC. CHICAGO WOMEN'S CLUB, CHICAGO

Miss Lucile Price has appeared many times as a reader before our people, and always with increased pleasure. She is esteemed for her character, and admired for her talent.
Very Sincerely,
DAVID T. MAGILL, PASTOR CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH
Galloway College experienced a very great pleasure in hearing Miss Lucile Price, reader of famed reputation. At the close the students burst forth into rounds of applause, calling repeatedly for encores, but each reading given by Miss Price served only to call forth additional admiration and praise.

The delightful reading of Miss Lucile Price gave us great pleasure. The children, as well as the older people, enjoyed Tom Sawyer's Love Affair.
HAZEL ROBINSON, OF NURSE'S ASSOCIATION, CHICAGO
Miss Stella Price is a most accomplished violinist and pianist. She is regarded by us all as a musical genius.
HON. U. S. HALL, PRES. PRIETCHELT COLLEGE, GLASGOW, MISSOURI
The violin solos by Miss Stella Price at the concert given at Galloway College Monday evening were enthusiastically received. Miss Price plays with ease and expression, and displayed good technique in the Neruda and Daucla numbers.

Miss Lucile Sterling Price is a public reader of unusual attractiveness and power. Her fine face and graceful carriage, her gracious manner and pleasing personality win her audience before she opens her lips. Her beautiful voice gives exquisite pleasure, while her naturalness in recitation, her depth of emotion, her abundant life and her enjoyment in her work, charm and delight her hearers.
MARY A. BLOOD, PRESIDENT COLUMBIA COLLEGE OF EXPRESSION
TO THE PUBLIC:
If I were to speak as enthusiastically as I thought of the musicianship of Miss Stella Price I might seem to be biased unduly in her favor.
She has been the Pianist for the Handel Musical Club during the entire year (1908 09), and not only played correctly at sight all the trying accompaniments of Samson, but has shown at the same time a true apprehension of rhythm, accent, motives, interwoven melodies to be brought out in their true characters, as well as a very high musical sensibility, rendering her a sympathetic accompanist for the soloist. Her technique is excellent.
She has also done much upon the violin, and has devoted some time to composition.
I would consider any concert company fortunate in a high degree in securing her services.
