THE REDPATH BUREAU Presents
The
Fraternity Glee Club
in a Salmagundi of College Life A Program of Melody—Song and Story set to
The Trill of the Mandolin
The Twang of the Banjo
The Rhythm of the Guitar
A
Salmagundi of College Life
although somewhat on the order of the entertainments given by the Harvard, Yale and Princeton Glee Clubs, is more essentially Lyceum in its character.
It is a clean, clear-cut program, at times indulging in the song, yell and action of the athletic field and at other moments picturing the informal but more serious gathering at the Fraternity House, and finally closing with an exceptionally bright and captivating little sketch written especially for this company called
College Days.
FIRST APPEARANCE IN THE MIDDLE WEST
The Fraternity Glee Club will make its appearance in the territory of the Chicago, Ill., and Columbus, O., offices of the Redpath Bureau for the first time during the season of 1912 and '13. In the Trans-Mississippi and Southwestern territory, the name is already known and stands for quality and action in male quartet work.
WAS ORGANIZED BY RALPH DUNBAR
The Fraternity Glee Club was organized and coached by Ralph Dunbar, who for years has been identified with the famous Dunbar Quartet and Bell Ringers, and who is now giving his entire time to company organizing. No quartet which he has organized has ever gone out that has failed to reflect credit upon Mr. Dunbar's genius and ability.
ALL DUNBAR COMPANIES MEET WITH APPROVAL
Four years ago the Music Makers were introduced to lyceum patrons and since then have toured widely, including a recent triumphal tour of the South. Many people who have heard practically all the companies of this kind claim that the Music Makers are today the greatest popular quartet in America.
Three years ago The Strollers were organized by Ralph Dunbar and met with instant success, a trip to the Pacific Coast the past season calling enthusiastically for a return tour the coming season.
Next came the Mendelssohn Quartet and The Fraternity Glee Club and committees who have enjoyed their programs of music and action, well know of their success.
