HON. H. M. BOORMAN
Subjects: The Trial of Jesus, Our Republic
A SLAYTON ATTRACTION
Hon. H. M. Boorman
Mr. Boorman brings to the CHAUTAUQUA PLATFORM the broad knowledge of a lawyer of 20 years practice, whose success in his profession has distinguished him as having more cases against railways than any attorney in Iowa.
He has for years been in great demand for public addresses but has never consented to enter the lecture field until recently, when he gave his lecture on THE TRIAL OF JESUS at a few chautauquas, and in each instance was greeted with the banner audience of the assembly.
In consideration of the unstinted praise of this lecture he has concluded to go upon the chautauqua platform with this and his other lecture (now in preparation) OUR REPUBLIC.
He stands pre-eminent as an orator and has made of these lectures distinctively chautauqua addresses.
We call special attention to his testimonials. With this brief statement we announce him as a strong chautauqua man, certain to please.

In sizing up the different events of the great Chautauqua at Atlantic the consensus of opinion is that Gov. Johnson and Boorman carried off the honors so far as addresses are concerned.
Rev. V. M. Elston
I heard the Trial of Jesus at Atlantic Chautauqua by H. M. Boorman. It is a great message, eloquent, logical. His delivery is exceedingly pleasing; his presentation of the successive stages of the trial is so eloquent that you feel you are indeed listening to the great tragedy of the first century. Everybody should hear him.
Atlantic Daily News
Mr. Boorman's lecture was all that was expected of it and deserves all the good words that have or can be said of it. His oratory is of the highest possible order.
