DR. BRUNO FURST
Distinguished New York Psychologist and Memory Expert, Noted Author of
Use Your Head
DR. BRUNO FURST
is a distinguished psychologist and memory expert, formerly of Czechoslovakia and now of New York City, who is internationally-known as a lecturer and author. For a number of years Dr. Furst was a professor in Masaryk College in Prague. His recent book,
Use Your Head,
published by Funk & Wagnalls, has been heralded by critics as a book that will give you a reliable memory if you use it. The main goal of his work and lectures is to prove that memory can be developed for all kinds of daily activity in business as well as private life.
Amazes Psychology Society by Many Feats
Displaying remarkable powers of memory, Dr. Furst amazed the members of the Psychology Society of the College of the City of New York not long ago with a demonstration of unusual ability in repetition of words, names, dates, numbers, pictures, etc., given to him by the audience. This lightning-like repetition is the product of his own unique memory system. This system is not occult or pedantic, but can be acquired easily and put to practical use by any man, woman or child of average intelligence. Dr. Furst is a popular and entertaining speaker, who merits many return dates and gets them. The Lumber industry, for instance, has used his talks and demonstrations for their meetings in New York, Washington, Milwaukee and Denver. In fact, wherever he appears they want him back.

Highest Praise for Dr. Furst as a Speaker
Wisconsin Retail Lumbermen's Asso., Milwaukee, Wis., D. S. Montgomery, Secretary. (Excerpt of a letter to Dr. Furst).
I want to thank you most heartily for the spirited way in which you entered into our Convention program and the fine job you did.
New York Teachers Square Club No. 384, Pinkus Sugarman, Secretary.
That we were all delighted Dr. Furst must have gathered by the intense interest and enthusiasm of his questioners.
Continental Club Bibliotheque, New York City, I. Robbins Kornbliet.
His lecture on
Memory and Suggestion
was most stimulating and informative. We had one of the largest audiences in the history of our Wednesday evening series on psychology, psychiatry, etc.
Lumber Products, New York City, Dan Critchfield (Excerpt of a letter to Dr. Furst).
From every secretary and executive of the associations I heard most favorable comments about your lectures. They asked me if it be possible to have you appear on their convention programs to be held during 1941. You start people thinking how lazy they are not to use their brains, and most of us don't realize what our memory can do for us if coached until we see you demonstrate how it can be done.
The First Humanist So. of New York—Charles Francis Potter.
The interest was intense throughout the lecture and it was difficult for us to clear the room after the long question period. I think I may say that never has there been more interest in any lecture before our society.
