Kathryn Kelchner, reader and impersonator, gave a very finely drawn resumé of a current play, East is West, portraying the little Chinese girl and both Chinese and American male roles with equal facility, and giving the charm and pathos of the play. I had the very great pleasure of hearing Miss Kelchner in Philadelphia, in a program of readings and character sketches which she presented in the manner and form of a true artist.  For an hour and a half she held the attention of the entire baseball team with her clever monologues and short stories, never lacking in pep and snap, the essential attributes which make for success on the platform.
