BENNETT SPRINGER
Conjurer
BENNETT SPRINGER
CONJURER
MR. BENNETT SPRINGER, entertainer in feats of magic, has the enviable reputation of never having disappointed an audience. For ten years he has mystified and delighted people of all ages with his clever exhibitions of sleight-of-hand, cartistry, and illusions.
A few years ago Mr. Springer's skill was called to the attention of the Bureau by no less a personage than the great Kellar. In describing his ability, Kellar said, He is one of the best magicians I have seen.
The popularity gained by his work has recalled him many times to the same places. His engagements have taken him to every New England city, as well as many of the leading cities in the North and South.
There is not an uninteresting number on the programme. One trick follows another in rapid succession, accompanied by a ready fire of witticism.
An evening at the hands of Mr. Springer passes all too quickly.
BENNETT SPRINGER
CONJURER
Intervale, N. H., Sept 5, 1910.
Dear Mr. Springer:
* * * * * You are all right and when people see your miracles they not only wish to see them over and over again but like to tell their friends that your show is the slickest, cleanest, and brightest show in that line on earth.
Yours with high regard,
ANDREW W. PHILLIPS.
(Emeritus Professor of Mathematics, Yale University.)
THE WITCH TOWN ENDORSES THE WIZARD
Professor Bennett Springer was presented to the audience. This modern Kellar is a conjuror of no mean ability, and the tricks which he performed amused and perplexed his audience in a manner which won him much applause.—
Salem, Mass., News.
Mr. Springer is one of the best sleight-of-hand performers we have ever seen. His mystifying tricks were all gracefully performed and accompanied by the usual flow of conversation, only it was that of a gentleman and not a lot of cheap talk.—
Cambridge, Mass., Chronicle.
Professor Springer, magician and cartist, gave a pleasing entertainment in the vestry of the High Street Church last evening before a large audience, who were mystified and puzzled throughout the entire performance. Professor Springer is one of the best in his line of business, and has a pleasing manner which is liked by young and old.—
Lowell Morning Citizen.
The chief entertainer of the evening was Prof. Bennett Springer who is without a doubt one of the leading conjurers, if not the best in the country to-day.—
Portsmouth, N. H., Daily Chronicle.
Mr. Springer is a magician and humorist of note, having a national reputation. As a sleight-of-hand artist, conjurer and cartist he is excellent. Yesterday afternoon at the Orphan House and last night at the Navy Yard he mystified several hundred people with his facile performance of feats seemingly impossible. Not in a single instance was anyone able to detect the way a trick was done. Not only the most puzzling American tricks but Oriental feats of magic and ledgerdemain were given.—
The News and Courier, Charleston, S. C., Feb., 19, 1910.

Mr. Bennett Springer,
Boston, Mass.
My Dear Mr. Springer: Let me repeat in writing what I tried to express verbally last night for your splendid entertainment before our members. I can assure you that everyone present enjoyed your program to the utmost. I am hearing only the kindest things said today. Washington audiences are hard to please, and you may feel congratulated that you have accomplished that feat.
Sincerely,
GERALD KARR SMITH, Social Secretary.
