refreshing
because they are new—truly news!
They are revealing because they penetrate the veil of emotion and hysteria which usually tend to obscure the truth!
They are

CAPTAIN MICHAEL FIELDING
Figure
Captain Michael Fielding, news analyst, world traveler and adventurer,
calls the turns
AHEAD of the news! In a lifetime of travel around the globe, Capt. Fielding has had occasion to visit or live in scores of countries and to study the points of view and mentality of their peoples. It is this rare background of PERSONAL observation which permitted him as a wartime radio commentator to establish the remarkable record of 94.85% accuracy in his predictions of things to come. His current topics
—no warmed-over rehash of what you've already read in the papers—
are a disclosure of events long before they get into the public prints. It is what makes his talks so informative and intriguing. He's a sure-fire hit!
Capt. Fielding obtains his facts first-hand. Almost every summer he undertakes extensive trips to those regions of the world where news is in the making. As a result of his visit to Europe and Yugoslavia in 1948, he was able to reveal hitherto unpublished details of the Tito-Stalin break almost a year before they hit the headines
(
RIFT IN THE IRON CURTAIN
— Season 1948-49).
Similarly, his coverage of the Indo-Pakistan sub-continent and frontiers of Central Asia in 1949 provided invaluable facts on expanding communism in Asia as a result of the collapse in China
(
RED SHADOWS ACROSS ASIA
— Season 1949-50).
In 1950 he foretold the defeat in Korea even when the news headlines were trumpeting victory
(
CRISIS IN KOREA
,
AFTER KOREA WHAT?
— Season 1950-51).
Again last year, he forecast, far in advance, a foreign policy blueprint which is now being carried out in virtually every detail.

PAX AMERICANA
