Re: Dungill Family Concert
Regardless of recommendations that precede a program, one generally has qualms—not knowing how a particular audience will receive the performers.
I could give you numerous instances of individual student reaction to the Dungills, but suffice it to say that our group of 700 sophomores—sitting on hard bleacher seats—were reluctant to leave at the end of the hour program. It was the close of the day for the students—not a time to return to classwork—but their applause indicated they wanted more.
I enjoyed meeting the Dungills personally—they're a lovely family—and I certainly hope that we can have them again.
