IN RECITAL
Marie Zendt's recital at the Playhouse showed a high lyric soprano voice, of fine quality, of good range, and artistically schooled. She sang with musical feeling and taste.—
Maurice Rosenfeld, Chicago Daily News.
Marie Sidenius Zendt sang with eager enthusiasm, and musical understanding.—
New York Times.
She has a voice of good quality, and well placed.—
New York Herald.
Soloist with Nordstjerman Singing Club, Orchestra Hall, Chicago. She is an artist in the truest sense of the word. She has voice and brains, both of high quality, and the two combine into uncommon lovely singing. Qui La Voce from Bellini and Lo, Here the Gentle Lark were given performances from which many operatic coloratura could have learned something.—
Edward Moore, Chicago Tribune.
