A Great Personality
Science In The Future
EDWIN N. COOPER Scientist Lecturer
MR. Cooper's entire professional career has been spent in the field of physical science. He was graduated from the University of Chicago and has taught physics at both Northwestern University and North Park College.
His classes have been among the most popular on the campus because of his fascinating personality and dramatic manner of presenting scientific material.
We have long sought a science program that was positively authentic while still having the showmanship necessary to interest the general audience. We are proud to have secured this remarkable speaker for our schools and confidently call it one of the finest science programs ever offered a school assembly.

Science in the Future
Purpose of the Program
To bring science into the lives of high school students in a way that will help them appreciate the wonders of the world they live in. Careers for both men and women will be discussed, too.
A Visual Presentation
Mr. Cooper will have the stage filled with illustrative material covering three fields of interest: Radio and Radar; Jet Propulsion and Atomic Energy; and Solar Energy and Ilumination. These visual aids will pique the curiosity of every audience and help make the program a scientific show. Ultra-violet light will be used in a strictly modern manner to enhance the explanation.
Sidelight on the Speaker
Mr. Cooper's audiences see a man who is handicapped as a result of a bone disease suffered in his youth. They see a man who has not let disabilities keep him from work he enjoys, or from a life crowded with interests, or from a bouyant outlook.
In His Talk Mr. Cooper Discusses:
1 Radio Radar
2 Jet Propulsion Atomic Energy
3 Solar Energy Illumination
