DR. THOMAS E. BENNER
presents
Today's Korea
A Land of Contrasts
An outstanding and timely film of the life and culture of the Korean people. Not a war film. Shows what Korean people are like; their dress; their customs; their agriculture; their cities; their art and music, etc. Part of film was made before Communist invasion, but most of the film was made in 1951 and 1952. Time—40 minutes.
In a highly interesting and informative talk preceding the film Dr. Benner comments on the Korean scene. Points out the absurdity of some of the proposals about Korea. Tells about future possibilities.
Dr. Benner is a prize-winning photographer. His color photographs have appeared on the covers of READERS DIGEST and COUNTRY GENTLEMAN. Time, Coronet and other magazines have used his photographs.

Excellent color film. His knowledge of Korea and his recent experiences there made his appearance both meaningful and timely. A most able speaker. This program was one of the finest ever presented here.
