THE MAURER FAMILY ENTERTAINERS COMING
FROM THE PRESS.
The Maurer family gave one of the very best entertainments, from a musical standpoint, ever given here, standing room was at a premium in the hall. The orchestra work was great —
Wakarusa Tribune, Nov. 29, 1906.
Gladys Maurer (the little one) was heard in a violin number which fairly took the audience by storm. The showing made by the pupil was nothing short of marvelous. She was given a rousing reception. —
South Bend Times, June 18, '07.
A delightful number of the Conservatory Concert was a Flute solo by Miss Edith Maurer. This difficult instrument was handled with confidence. —
South Bend Tribune, June 18, '07.
The entertainment at the opera house by the Maurer family of South Bend, was highly appreciated. They are each of them artists. —
Millersburg Grit, Jan. 24, '07.
The entertainment given by the Maurer Family at the Baptist Church proved a delightful treat. —
Elkhart Review, Jan. 21, '07.
It gives me pleasure to recommend to you the entertainments given by the Maurer Orchestra. Besides the excellent orchestral numbers presented, the solo and duet numbers are especially pleasing. Three members have been students in the conservatory and all show evidence of much musical talent.
— M. B. Griffith, Pres. South Bend Conservatory.

FROM THE PULPIT.
The Maurer Family [whom I served as pastor for five years] have exceptional musical talent and have been trained by the best teachers. Any church or organization will do well to engage them.
—Rev. Dr. W. F. Hovis, pastor St. Paul M. E. Church, South Bend.
The Maurer Orchestra rendered a delightful program for our reception, a whistling solo by Miss Maurer was very highly appreciated.
—F. W. Lillie, Supt. Y. M. C. A., South Bend, Ind.
It gives me pleasure to commend Miss Edith Maurer, for some months she has had charge of our Sunday School orchestra, and at different times furnished solo numbers on the Flute. She is also a charming whistler.
—Rev. G. W. Henry, pastor 1st Christian Church South Bend.
The musical entertainment by the Maurer Family, in our church, was greatly enjoyed by all present and nothing but commendation is heard. The program is ennobling.
—Rev. H. N. Spear, pastor Baptist Church, Elkhart, Ind.
The Maurer Family filling a concert number in our Lecture Course is pronounced as one of the very best ever given in this community.
— Rev. J. K. Wyant, pastor Richland Center Church, Ind. Dec. 29, '06.
I commend the Maurer Family. They are entertainers of the good and excellent character. They seem to be born to music and find expression on a varied number of instruments and songs for the triumphant notes in their souls. Edith gives a very clever whistling exhibition, Francis and Edith are exceptionally good in their duet work. I commend them to the best place on any program.
—S. B. King, Pastor Trinity Pres. Church, South Bend.
