FOR the second time, Mr. Edward Clarke will present a course of Lecture Recitals on song literature on the North Side Center. This will be the Third consecutive season that Mr. Clarke has presented these recitals under the direction of the University Lecture Association.
The purpose of these recitals is to awaken and develop a more general love and knowledge of worth while songs—to call attention to the fact that we have in our song literature an abundance of riches that need but to be known, even slightly, to have them yield us their lasting beauty.
Mr. Earl Victor Prahl will again act as accompanist, playing one or two groups during the course, while Mrs. Clarke will contribute a number of obligatos and solos.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarke are members of the faculty of the Lyceum Arts Conservatory, Lyon & Healy Building, and Mr. Prahl of the Bush Conservatory of Music.
