Miss Leta Clark is a brilliant young pianist of rare musical ability. She began her musical studies at the age of seven and has continued studying and teaching constantly since that time.
Miss Clark has a style in playing which is distinctly her own Her tonal power and technique are wonderful. Her repertory is extensive an she plays the most difficult compositions of the old masters with an ease and grace which is seldom found in a young pianist. She has a combination of a light artistic touch in dainty passages and a heavy vigorous execution that is rarely seen in pianists.
After studying for two years with Prof. Ver Sel in Liberty College of music, Miss Clark went to the Illinois Conservatory of music and graduated there in 1902. She then entered the American Conservatory in Chicago and became a pupil of Prof Hattstaedt She went to Chautauqua, New York in the summer of 1907 and took lessons of the famous teacher and pianist W H. Sherwood.

The ease and grace with which she plave the Listz Rhapsodie No 12 has never been surpassed in Warrensburg.
