He is a real crayon wizard.  His cartoons and caricatures are original and striking.  His quotations from the poets and authors are apt and effective.  And in closing his lectures he always draws a moral or spiritual lesson which leaves a wholesome effect on his audience.

Arden P. Keyser, The Marrying Parson and Crayon Artist, gave the first extra Lyceum number on Thursday, January 24th.

Mr. Keyser's work was acceptable in every way and his program thoroughly enjoyed.  His work as a cartoonist is exceptionally fine, and his witty manner of presentation makes him a real artist.  Many have said that his program was superior to that of Pitt Parker who appeared as a regular number on our course.

Cartoonist, humorist, reader, orator are all terms that are but feebly suggestive of the real Keyser in action.

The Chalk Talk given by Rev. A. P. Keyser was a feature of this meeting, (the Parent-Teacher's Association), and all present can truthfully say that he is a real artist along this line, as well as an elocutionist of merit.
A rising vote of thanks was tendered Mr. Keyser for his part in the program, which was both edifying and elevating.

Mr. Arden P. Keyser appeared in my church in an evening's entertainment of cartoons and magic last night.  We considered the entertainment in every sense a success.  Mr. Keyser revealed the talent of a real artist.

The different types of his crayon work indicated his versatility.  He easily carried his large audience with him.  Not only were there many laughs, but there were also scenes portrayed which appeal to the deeper emotions of the human heart.

One of his very best productions was a rag picture which aroused both admiration and amusement.  In his works of magic he delighted the many children present and caused wonder to the older folks.

While doing his work, Mr. Keyser spoke in a strong, clear voice, and much amusement was caused by the running fire of his native wit.

I take great pleasure in commending Mr. Keyser as a successful entertainer whose work is really worth while.

Arden P. Keyser, cartoonist and magician, gave an interesting and much appreciated entertainment before a record-breaking crowd at the First M. E Church, South, last night.  This was Mr. Keyser's first appearance on the lecture platform here, and to say that his program was pleasing and worth while would be only expressing in mild form a general excellence of his productions.

It is to me a privilege and pleasure to speak of the splendid evening's entertainment given by Arden P. Keyser, Cartoonist and Lecturer.

Mr. Keyser's work is not only original and of a high order, but is timely and rich in its quality.  He has a most pleasing manner that appeals to you at once; and his characterizations, as they run all the way from the sublime to the ridiculous, not only show you his effective study and keen insight of human nature, but grip you with their power.  At one moment his audience would be convulsed with merriment at some comic picture, and at the next there would be a tense silence as we were held by the beauty of his word-painting and the sublimity of his thought.

To my mind, his work not only showed genuine merit, and evidenced those rare gifts which mean so much for success in his line, but marked the work of a real artist.  It has been my good fortnne to hear him on several different occasions, and always there has been the feeling that the time was most pleasantly and profitably spent.  The institution or community which secures Arden P. Keyser for an evening's entertainment is to be congratulated.
