The Djer-Kiss
Interpreted by R. F. Schabelitz
Here you behold the charm one gains by the use of my beauty-aids! 'The Djer-Kiss' so subtly whispers my message, that I have asked the world's great artistes to express it—each in his own manner.
(SIGNED) Kerkoff, Paris
Djer-Kiss Talc, Face Powder, Extract, and Silver Double Vanity for loose powder.
Figure
Like a Shower of Kisses!
POUDRES so fine that their use is a caress! Created by Monsieur Kerkoff in Paris, for rare feminine distinction; and laden with that ineffable odeur known to smart women—Djer-Kiss.
Djer-Kiss Poudre Talc—lovely and delicate; in cool moss-green cans for travel; in dainty crystal for one's dressing table.
Djer-Kiss Face Powder—of rare fine quality, to blend almost invisibly with various complexions.
The smart woman insists that Extract, Face Powder, Talcum, Sachet, Toilet Water, Rouge—all must have the one precious odeur:

WHO'S WHO IN THE POOR NUT

PERCY HELTON appeared in other plays before his Poor Nut engagement, namely, The Return of Peter Grimm, The Five Million, Fifty Miles from Boston, Julie Bon Bon, The Wife Tamers, and more recently as Jerry in Up the Ladder and Raymond in Greatness with Jobyna Howland.
BEACH COOKE'S other activities in Chicago were The Purple Mask, Toto, and In Love With Love.
ERIC KALKHURST was co-featured at the Studebaker in Capsized and was also in The Haunted House.
ROBERT SCOTT was singing lead during the Chicago engagement in The Greenwich Village Follies, and also played the Palace and State-Lake.

CHICAGO'S SMARTEST NEW APARTMENT HOTEL
The
SENECA
Favored by people of importance
THE designers of the Seneca quite frankly planned a town residence for those who are accustomed to the best. Here, for instance, will live the representative of a foreign government … a member of a great New York financial firm … to mention only two of a number of persons of more than ordinary business and social prominence. The location is east of Michigan on Chestnut Street … the Drake Hotel is immediately north. The Loop itself is a matter of a tenminute walk. All apartments are furnished. Keep house or not, as you wish. Real kitchens with Frigidaire ice-units, full-size electric ranges … Grill and restaurant in building (no extra charge for room service) make it unnecessary. Maid service if desired; commissary on premises; public garages within a block. Altogether an impelling invitation to efficient and delightful living!
Rentals, two to eight rooms, with or without kitchen, $140 to $800. The Seneca will be ready for occupancy October 1st.
