He who would interpret literature must interpret life—life relieved of the accidents of the commonplace conceived in simplicity, made incarnate through the magic of speech. STORY OF THE JAPANESE FETE. The Japanese Fete is a portrayal of life in the flowery kingdom. The opening of the act will be a typical Japanese tea garden; American tourists have come to be entertained—the dainty little Geisha girls sing, dance, pose for the foreigners, as they call us, to the delight of the party. They are celebrating the Feast of the Cherry Blossoms, the most glorious Fete day of Japan. There is no dialogue, the musical performance being continuous. Address G. ALICE FISK, Business Manager 6253 Ellis Ave., Chicago, Ill.
