THIS WILL INTRODUCE
AN unusual diversity of talents, pleasing personality, and the born entertainer's eagerness to give of his best to every audience: That is a concise description of the Plymouth Singers and Players, and, incidentally, a convincing explanation of the Company's uninterrupted success.
Equally capable and experienced as a vocal and instrumental quartet, there is hardly a musical demand that the four young men making up this Company cannot meet. There is every possible combination of ensemble, as well as vocal solos with string obligato or orchestral accompaniment. By way of instrumental music, orchestral quartets and trios, brass and reed duets, and brass and string solos are presented.
Naturally, then, Plymouth Programs are delightfully varied and continuously progressive in interest. There are no dull moments, no tiresome repetitions. Every number must be, and is, different from its predecessors, not only in kind, but in manner of presentation as well. And humor and novelty are had from a 'cello or clarinet with as much spontaneity as from the incidental readings and duologues.
In short, the Plymouth Players and Singers are fully equipped to meet in every way the exacting demands of the most alert and up-to-date lyceum or chautauqua audience.
And finally: Thorough coaching and extended work together as a company have made assurance doubly sure.
