Miss Jeannette Kling is recognized as one of America's most brilliant and successful readers, and it is considered most fortunate that her managers have persuaded her to devote a portion of each season to company work. Her reputation for entire programs, especially the recital of entire plays, is well established. The success of any company fortunate enough to have her as its star, is unquestioned. Miss Lily Lee Smith is a daughter of the South, whose home is in Mississippi. Her cosmopolitan training was supplemented by years of study under the eminent English pianist, Douglas Boxall, exponent of the great Leschetisky. Gifted with unusual musical talent, innate artistic refinement and great personal charm, she has made many brilliant appearances as soloist and accompaniste, and has won extraordinary favor in the concert field.
