PUBLIC COMMENDATION
Those who attended the concert given last evening at the Y. M. C. A. by the Garber. Howe Entertainers enjoyed a rare musical treat. The members are all artists of high order. Mr. Garber, especially, rendered some most difficult selections on the banjo in masterly style. Professor Howe's rendition on the violin of Ovide Musin's Mazourka de Concert was especially fine, and his beautiful imitations of birds singing was one of the choicest bits of playing heardin a longtime.

The Garber - Howe Entertainment was indeed a treat to the large andience present. Mr. Chalet Garber is certainly the
undisputed prince
of the banjo, for his handling of that instrument was marvelous. Selections by Mr. Howe were much enjoyed, for it has been a long time since such a master of the violin has appeared here. The company also gave some clever musical novelty acts which were out of the ordinary and were very pleasing. —
