SOME OF MISS MORRISON'S CHARACTERS
THE MILDRED MORRISON COMPANY
MISS MILDRED MORRISON has not been waiting these years for the recognition her friends have felt was sure to come to her, instead she has been studying and working and adding each year to her splendid efficiency. Some of her best friends even were not aware that she could read—when it was discovered that she had become, by a thorough course of study and carefully selected repertoire, a close rival of the best child impersonator in America.
Miss Morrison's principal part in programs, during her several years of lyceum experience, has been as a singer, though she possesses marked versatility. Her voice is of the rich mezzo quality and she sings with charming ease and grace. Whether in musical numbers, readings, or the principal part in sketches with the entire company, her right to a place among artists of first rank in the lyceum profession is clearly demonstrated.
Mr. Carl Taggart, baritone and trombone soloist, and Miss Vera Andersen, violinist, are musicians thoroughly equipped for the important parts they take in presenting a well balanced program. Each is a solo artist of real merit.
