The Floyds Magicians
CENTRAL P. & E. CO. ROCHESTER N. Y.
The Floyds
The
FLOYDS have been in the very front rank of Lyceum Entertainers for over twenty years, and have not only kept fully abreast of the times, but in advance of them, by constantly inventing and presenting the most startling novelties in their peculiar line of work. An evening's entertainment by
THD FLOYDS
combines every possible point of excellence, beautiful and expensive paraphernalia, rich costumes, and brilliant stage settings. We take pleasure in endorsing these artists as strictly first-class in every way.—The Bureau.

The
Floyds Unique as magic Entertainers
Some of the most mystical illusions ever seen on the local stage, were performed last evening by
THE FLOYDS
, who furnished one of the entertainments of the Y. M. C. A. Star Course. The dexterity displayed in those tricks which require no apparatus was really wonderful. The second part was given over to Telepathy with
MRS. FLOYD
as the medium. The reading of numbers on watches belonging to persons in the rear of the parquet and the naming of persons and their occupations was as easily done by the blindfolded mind-reader as though she had been acquainted with the watches and persons for a life-time. The attendance last night was one of the largest ever present at a Y. M. C. A. entertainment, and so well were the people pleased that it is probable that
THE FLOYDS
will be re-engaged next year.—

THE FLOYDS
delighted everyone. The illusions are new and presented in an original manner.

The mind-reading act by

surpassed any performance of the kind ever seen here.

THE FLOYDS
proved a banner attraction. The best entertainment ever given in our course. We want them again.

They are good for a return date with us.

WONDERFUL MIND-READING
TESTS THAT FAR SURPASS
ANYTHING HERETOFORE
ATTEMPTED ALONG THAT LINE
Of prepossessing appearance,
always beautifully gowned, and with a decidedly original act, she never fails to interest and delight her audience. Newspapers all over the country have devoted entire columns to descriptions of her marvelous
mental phenomena,
the only exhibition of this kind ever offered to Lyceum audiences.

Lockhart, Tex., Dec. 5, 1907.
We had
THE FLOYDS
with us last evening, and I must say that they are great, and our people are all of the same opinion.
FLOYD
is as clever as any magician we have ever had, and his wife is a
wonder.
I have never seen work in her line equalled. I have seen mind readers, but nothing like this woman and her work. It is the most remarkable that I have ever seen. When discussing the work of this company with some of our people, many compliment or speak of certain work of
FLOYD
, as the most wonderful, but I always bring them to talk of the lady, and invariably they agree with me that it is the most wonderful they have ever seen.

Palestine, Tex., Feb. 27, 1907.
It gives me pleasure to report that
THE FLOYDS
entertainment of the 20th inst. was very satisfactory.
MR. FLOYD
is original in his tricks, and exceedingly clever. The work of
MOHALA
is indeed interesting and wonderful. The combination is a good one.
— N. B. Peake.

FLOYD
The
Magician
Figure
is without doubt the most skilful exponent of pure sleight-of-hand that has ever appeared upon the Lyceum platform. He has followed this line of work for over twenty years. He was the pioneer and still maintains the lead. He has invented, designed and presented more brilliant magical experiments than any magician now living. He is constantly at work upon some new and wonderful mystery, and so startling are some of the effects and so nearly perfect his art that he has but to command the most unheard of things to happen and they transpire.
FLOYD
is not only a skilful [sic skillful] magician, but he is a comedian, humorist and entertainer, and keeps his audience in a state of constant merriment.
The
Floyds
have filled return engagements in nearly every large city on this continent, and as their repertoire is inexhaustible they are fully prepared for any number of re-engagements.

THE FLOYDS
gave their entertainment here last night, and while the rain was falling in torrents, we had a good crowd, and the entertainment was satisfactory in every way. The people were highly pleased and we have heard many complimentary remarks to-day.

THE FLOYDS
, who opened our course, were very fine indeed. It is by far the best thing of the kind I have seen. All our people were highly pleased.

THE FLOYDS
were considered by all to have given the very best entertainment ever seen in this city.
— W. G. Schamberger, Sec'y.
Del Rio, Tex., Dec. 3, 1907.
THE FLOYDS
gave a superb entertainment. We had a very large attendance, and everyone went away more than satisfied. We can conscientiously recommend them to any committee who desire a strictly first-class entertainment.
— J. C. Henry, Chairman Committee.
Beaumont, Tex., Enterprise, Dec. 1, 1907.
The third number in the Y. M. C. A. Lyceum Course was the magician
FLOYD
, who entertained the largest number of people that the Lyceum ever had. His work was of the best and delighted the crowded audience. The work of
MRS. FLOYD
was truly marvellous and excited great wonder. This was a return for
THE FLOYDS
and they are always sure of a warm welcome here.
Atlanta, Ga., Y. M. C. A.
I was delighted with the entertainment given in our auditorium last Friday evening by
THE FLOYDS
. I think that in my fifteen years' connection with this work we have never had a program which so universally pleased our members

I would like to say a few words in praise of
MR. FLOYD'S
entertainment on the night of the 14th. It was one of the most attractive and entertaining numbers that we have had on our course. Everyone was highly pleased. The mind reading of
MOHALA
was wonderful and captivated the large audience. I am sure
FLOYD
would have a crowded house if he should return. Too much cannot be said in praise of
THE FLOYDS
.

LATEST HANDCUFF MYSTERY
Dallas, Texas, News, December 13, 1907.
Bush Temple was crowded to the doors last evening to greet
THE FLOYDS
, magicians, in spite of the fact that a severe storm was in progress, and all were amply repaid, for
THE FLOYDS
are simply great. * * *
(Forty-two lines omitted.) The concluding illusion was a most startling mystery and proved a fitting close to a most delightful program of Magic and Laughter.

Many magicians have appeared in this town, but never any that equalled the wonderful
FLOYDS
. They are illusionists and mind-readers most extraordinary, and held the entire audience spell-bound for nearly two hours. The Market theatre was filled and all departed with a feeling of complete satisfaction. * * *
Hamilton, Can., Daily Spectator, Feb. 13, 1908.
THE FLOYDS
, Magicians, gave their second entertainment at the Y. M. C. A. Auditorium last evening to a very large and well-pleased audience. They offered an almost complete change from the program that met with favor on Tuesday evening.
THE FLOYDS
came most highly recommended and we were led to expect great things of them, but they have more than
made good.
* * * The wonderful mind-reading by
MOHALA
proved a mystery indeed. The act is richly dressed, and being bright and sparkling, it produced many hearty laughs, aside from the deep mystery surrounding it. * * *

FLOYD
as an exponent of the art of legerdemain is certainly all that was claimed for him and his tricks were performed with skilful adroitness that completely mystified the vast andience and held its closest attention from start to finish.
PROF. FLOYD
circulates through the aisles of the house and keeps up a witty flow of talk that makes much laughter. The entertainment was in three parts, the first being devoted entirely to sleight-of-hand tricks, all cleverly executed. The second part was that of mind-reading by
MRS. FLOYD
, who is blind-folded and sits in a chair in the center of the stage while
PROF. FLOYD
is with the audience. People hold up different articles such as watches, keys, coins, etc., and she instantly tells what they are, even to the exact numbers which may be stamped upon them. He points to some object at a distance and
MRS. FLOYD
at once tells what the object is and describes it.
THE FLOYDS
gave a most clever entertainment, which pleased everybody, and as that style of amusement is always so fascinating, a capacity house will be at the Auditorium to-night where they are to give their second performance.
