THE HIGHEST ENDORSEMENT of Mr. Laird's Lectures is given by prominent preachers, lawyers, statesmen and educators—and why? Because these lectures are not only entertaining but instructive and inspiring. They deal with great characters of history, with vital facts and helpful ideals. Hence they have received the highest endorsement of men prominent in public life today.
HON. IRVINE LENROOT
Congressman from Wisconsin.

Washington, D. C.
I am acquainted with George R. Laird and it has been my pleasure to hear him lecture a number of times. I can recommend him in the very highest terms and have no hesitation in saying that any audience that once hears him will be glad to have him for a return engagement.

REV. A. A. WILLITS, D.D. Dean of the American Lecture Platform.
We had the very great pleasure of hearing Mr. Laird give his admirable lecture entitled, Why Uncle Sam Smiles
We were delighted and so was the large audience. The lecture is patriotic and optimistic in spirit — comprehensive in scope — convincing in argument — bright and witty in illustration and cannot fail not only to delight but to do good wherever given.

THE MEN WHO MANAGE Lecture Courses—The Committeemen—are proverbially critical and justly so. They pay the bills and they demand the Goods. Laird delivers the goods. During his last season he was booked by the REDPATH LYCEUM BUREAU for more than one hundred and seventy-five lectures and filled every date except one, which was impossible. The comments following are reports of the Lecture Course Committeemen to the Bureau. They come from all classes and from many States.
EDUCATOR'S ENDORSEMENTS
Prof. F. A. Forster, Concord State Normal, West Virginia.—Dr. Laird was with us November 16, and delivered a delightful lecture. I wish every person in town could have heard Laird was the remark made by several leading citizens next day. Laird has a vital message and delivers it with vitality.
Prof. Whitney, Superintendent of Schools, Reed City, Mich.—Laird has a message and an earnestness which compel attention; all were delighted.
Prof. H. G. Hoffert, Principal High School, Melmore, Ohio.—Mr. Laird pleased our people. His lecture is new, original and witty. Laird is like Uncle Sam in that he will make good on any platform.
Rev. P. A. Funck, Secretary Y. M. C. A., Sterling, Ill.—Mr. Laird's lecture in Sterling under the auspices of our Y. M. C. A., was highly appreciated and we highly recommend him to all. Mr. Laird has the ability to hold an audience enthusiastic to the end.
BUSINESS MEN'S BREVITIES
F. E. Beatty, Pres. Kellogg Strawberry Farm Co., Three Rivers, Mich.—Dr. Laird's lecture here was one of the best we have had. His wit and humor and his up-to-date methods made everyone enthusiastic.
Raymond Hagler, Real Estate Agent, Murphysboro, Ill.—Laird's lecture in our city gave excellent satisfaction. The conditions were poor, a stormy night, etc., but Laird mastered the situation in a remarkable manner. I heartily commend him to all committees.
W. E. Thompson, Farmer, Newport, Ohio.—Laird's lecture gave universal satisfaction. His fine personality and eloquent manner held our people from start to finish, while his characteristic humor carried conviction.
John G. Naegler, Cashier Farmers' State Bank, Middleville, Mich.—Laird's lecture here was a masterpiece from beginning to end. I say, unreservedly—the best given in our course—strong, forceful, logical, humorous and optimistic.
CHAUTAUQUA COMMENTS
L. H. Darling, Manager Will County, Ill., Chautauqua.—After hearing George R. Laird in his popular lecture, our people insisted on hearing Mr. Laird again. His lectures have the right Chautauqua ring, keen, practical, enjoyable. Any Chautauqua program which needs brightening up should have Laird's lectures.
Hon. Joseph E. Black, Lawyer, Richmond, Mo.—Mr. Laird's lectures at Richmond Chautauqua were by far the best on the program. Laird is an exceptional man. He is not only a Prince of Entertainers, but an orator who gets to the milk in the cocoanut and gives one things he an carry away with him.
Rev. Peter Clare, Cententary M. E. Church, Mankato, Minn.—Laird's lectures were among the best at the Mankato Chautauqua—keen, comprehensive, intensely interesting and inspiring. To scholarship and ability Mr. Laird adds a most pleasing personality.
The La Crosse (Wis.) Tribune.—There are but few men who can attract a large audience in a busy city, but Dr. Laird did this at the La Crosse Chautauqua. He proved his ability to treat great subjects and established his reputation among La Crosse people.
