This entertainment will illustrate, by description and reproduction, the many ideas of the late Thomas Nast, that have become indispensable to the art of pictorial expression, giving the history and recalling the circumstances under which so many of the things we see every day were originated in the exhaustless mind of this wonderful man. This artist and diplomat; this destroyer of corruption; this greatest political cartoonist the world has ever known; one of this country's most ardent patriots, who may justly be ranked with Washington, Lincoln and Grant.
Thos. Nast, Jr., will also give an exhibition of his ambidextrous drawing, which has entertained, amused and astonished his audiences. A rival of no one, he has entered a field unoccupied, wherein he demonstrates that he has not only inherited a rich measure of his lamented father's great talent, but is also able to accomplish a wonderful feat in ambidexterity, thus enabling him to give the unique and instructive entertainments he is now presenting.

One of the genuinely attractive and artistic incidents is the appearance of Thos. Nast, Jr., as a picture maker. This artist has hit upon a novel and fetching act, and it possesses the uncommon qualities of refinement and entertainment. The drawing of two pictures simultaneously—one with either hand—is a unique feat in itself, and this Mr. Nast accomplishes with astonishing rapidity and ease. He produces his best effects by bold strokes, few in number, but all telling and to the point. A striking instance of this is his conversion of a rough and ready portrait of President Roosevelt into an instantly recognizable likeness of the Rev. Charles H. Parkhurst, of New York
