MAGIC THAT IS DIFFERENT
GUY STANLEY
MAGICIAN
ENTERTAINMENT SUPREME
An Outstanding and Skillful Presentation of the Art of Legitimate Deception
INTERESTING INSPIRATIONAL EDUCATIONAL
• GUY STANLEY is one of America's leading magicians. His clever and artistic sleight of hand is always welcomed by any audience. Years of study, travel and research, combined with long experience as a professional magician, are factors which enable STANLEY to present a performance of unusual merit. Everywhere audiences of all ages show keen interest and rapt attention as he carries them through a mystic maze of enchantment.
• HUMOR, FUN, WIT and laughable situations intersperse STANLEY'S programs from start to finish.
• OCCIDENTAL and ORIENTAL WONDERS are brought to you from the four quarters of the globe. Being an inventor of magic as well as a performer, GUY STANLEY has originated many of the mysteries presented in his program. Everything is carefully selected for entertainment value. STANLEY'S repertoire embraces tricks with silks, flags, handkerchiefs, ropes, bells, hats, lanterns, pigeons, rabbits, flowers, umbrellas, boxes, trunks, cabinets, etc.
• PRESTIDIGITATION: Some of STANLEY'S very best and most talked of mysteries are accomplished through pure sleight of hand. Eggs, coins, cards, rings, etc., are manipulated in such a way as to cause absolute wonderment.
• SPIRIT PHENOMENA: STANLEY'S famed Spirit Cabinet is one of the highlights of his performance. Disclaiming any spirit aid or super-normal power, so-called spirit tests and manifestations are skillfully presented on a fully lighted stage.
• STANLEY IS ABLY ASSISTED throughout by EMILIE STANLEY. Her charming personality and many changes of wardrobe add materially to the beauty of the production.
• STANLEY'S REPERTOIRE IS FLEXIBLE and ranges from a ten minute act up to a full evening's performance. Programs to suit any occasion.
COMMENTS
HIGH SCHOOL, Marshall, Mich.
I have heard many very fine comments about your program given before some 700 people in the Marshall High School on the evening of Nov. 3. It was most entertaining and clean cut in every way. I trust that we may have you with us again.
H. W. HOLMES, Supt.
From AD-VENTS, official organ, Greater Buffalo Advertising Club, Buffalo, N. Y.
The committee in charge of last Tuesday's meeting is certainly to be congratulated for its splendid work in producing two very noteworthy features, namely, Guy Stanley, magician and Dr. Lothrop Stoddard, author, traveler and student of world affairs, as speaker. We were entertained by Mr. Stanley with deep and mysterious feats of magic, startling spirit manifestations and tests—mystifying to say the least.
UPPER ARLINGTON SCHOOLS, Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Stanley's program is very appropriate for presentation to school groups. His performance was unusually well received by the grade children and also by the High School boys and girls.—STANLEY McGOWAN, Principal.
GRIDLEY, ILL., Wm. Hainsworth, Pastor, Union Cong. Church.
Our people, grown-ups as well as children, thoroughly enjoyed the excellent entertainment presented by Mr. Stanley in our church annex recently. I have heard a good many comments; without exception they were enthusiastic. A second visit should fill the annex to overflowing. The Spirit Cabinet Mysteries provide a dramatic climax to a splendidly clean and clever performance.
NICHOL'S SCHOOL, Buffalo, N. Y., Mr. Phillip M. B. Boocock, Head Master.
It was very delightful to have you return to Nichol's for your second visit. The cordial reception that you have received from the student body on both occasions indicates how popular your program is. We hope you will be back with us at Nichols in the not too distant future.
HIGH SCHOOL, Morristown, Ind.
Mr. Stanley, in his appearance in the school auditorium last night, gave one of the very best entertainments which I have witnessed. His illusions are mystifying and entertaining, and his manner of performance is pleasing indeed. He is an excellent entertainer.—S. R. LAMB, Principal.
OTTAWA HILLS SCHOOLS, Toledo, Ohio.
Mr. Guy Stanley gave his program to delighted audiences three times in our schools. It would be difficult to tell whether it was enjoyed more by the elementary children, Junior High School, or Senior High School audiences. Mr. Stanley's assortment of tricks is excellent, and his dialogue adds much to the performance. Teachers and pupils alike were enthusiastic,—an interesting, entertaining and educational program of magic.—F. W. BROWN, Superintendent.
LAKEVIEW HIGH SCHOOL, Battle Creek, Mich.
Mr. Stanley gave our high school a fine, high grade entertainment in the form of a magic show. He is clever and skillful, and was greatly enjoyed by our students.
—JULIAN W. SMITH, Prin.
