NORMAN ALLAN IMRIE
NORMAN ALLAN IMRIE was born in Canada; educated in the United States, specializing in the field of history and government at the University of Chicago.  He served four years overseas with the Canadians in the World War, rising from the ranks to a Captaincy.  Returning to the United States he became Instructor of History at the Culver Military Academy.

His success as a speaker has been remarkable.  During the halcyon days of Lyceum and Chautauqua his voice was heard in every State of the Union, in Canada, Alaska, and far-off New Zealand.

But it is as an after-dinner speaker and Toastmaster that Imrie's success has been most unique.  From his first appearance in Chicago before the Union League Club's complimentary dinner to the U. S.
