DR. ROBERT N. McMURRY,
specialist in applied psychology, noted authority on personnel administration and market research, twice fellow of the Institute of International Education at Vienna, holder of degrees from the Universities of Chicago and Vienna, recipient of two years' training at the Institute for Psychoanalysis in Vienna, and now Executive Secretary of the Psychological Corporation in Chicago, is not only a brilliant and popular speaker, but a contributor to such publications as The Nation, The Christian Century, The Management Review, Personnel, School and Society, Retailing and others as well.
Dr. McMurry has had an extensive experience in clinical, social and industrial psychology. He is in touch with the latest developments in the field of applied psychology. He has worked with delinquent boys in the steel mill area of South Chicago and investigated the effects of unemployment among the negroes under the direction of Prof. E. W. Burgess of the University of Chicago and Dr. Clifford Shaw of the Institute of Juvenile Research. Leading corporations of the Middle West have engaged him as consultant and for important research work. The American Psychological Association, The Chicago Psychoanalytic Society, The American Marketing Society, The Illinois Society of Consulting Psychologists are some organizations that have honored him with membership. He is a director of the Market Research Forum of Chicago and of the Chicago Branch of the National Vocational Guidance Association.
