THE MANAGEMENT take great pleasure in calling the Committee's attention to 
Hendrickson & Rosani,
 the inimitable Magicians, Jugglers and Shadowgraphists, whose work has merited the well deserved econiumns that both Press and Public have bestowed upon them.  Heretofore it has not been customary to introduce acts of this nature upon the Lyceum Platform and at Churches, but Messrs.  HENDRICKSON and ROSANI have endowed their work with such grace and skill that it does not savor in the least of the professional stage, and therefore can be introduced to the most critical lady audience without the slightest fear of anything being done to offend the most fastidious.  Both Press and Pulpit unite in speaking in words of the highest praise as to their ability to please and entertain any audience, no matter how critical.

WHAT DOES HE DO?

He is of the kind known as a Prestidigitateur, or Sleight-of-hand Artist, and stands in Magic, second to none.




AS A SHADOWGRAPHIST—Par Excellence—with his two hands bare and his sleeves rolled back to the elbows, aided by a powerful light, in full view of the audience, causes most amusing and grotesque Silhouettes of animals, faces, comic figures, houses, caracature, etc., to appear in bewildering variety upon a large white screen.




Among the many novelties that Mr. Hendrickson presents this season, particular attention is called to the Smoke Pictures.  Taking an enamelled plate he smokes it thoroughly with an alcohol lamp, and then with his finger, he causes most beautiful and artistic designs to appear as if by magic, causing the audience to ask in amazement, 
how is it possible?

WHAT DOES HE DO?

Is the first question that is asked by the ordinary reader.  Rosani has made a life-time study of dexterous manipulation of various objects, amongst them being plates, bowls, lamps, whips, boxes, pipes, balls, etc., they being handled with the extreme grace and skill that can only be acquired by long and arduous practice, combined with natural ease and dexterity.  He goes from one trick to another, each succeeding trick seemingly requiring more skill than its predecessor, until at the

 the audience gives vent to their enthusiasm in prolongued applause.

Something of a novelty by Messrs.  Hendrickson & Rosani afforded.  The former is a clever Sleight-of-Hand Artist and produced some very mystifying results.  He also varied the program by evolving quite a creditable landscape, drawn with his finger on a smoked plate.  His Shadowgraph pictures were very amusing.  Rosani is a clever Artist, and perhaps the cleverest man in his line ever seen here.  His Feats of Balancing with a Billard Cue and Balls and Juggling articles were really marvellous.

A Splendid Entertainment.  The third number of the Endeavor Lyceum Course at the Grand Opera House last night, given by Hendrickson & Rosani.  Magicians and Jugglers, proved to be very clever entertainers.

Hendrickson & Rosani entertained a large audience at the High School Hall last night.  The programme was an excellent one, every feature was of a high class, and the audience was well pleased.

Bewildering and Dexterious Tricks performed by Hendrickson & Rosani at the Opera House.  They delighted the large audience which greeted them last night.  They are undoubtedly the best Artists in their line that have ever shown in Union.  Mr. Hendrickson occupied the first part of the evening in Sleight-of-Hand Tricks which were new and bewildering.  Then came Rosani, who was equally as good in his Original Juggling Specialty, and an expert in his line.  Some of his feats seemed next to miraculous and was loudly applauded.  The Smoke Picture was beautiful and the Shadowgraphing excellent
