WE feel that we cannot adequately present the Loveless Quartet to our patrons without telling you a little story.
14rt Ben Book 36
Some years ago in a rural valley in the Ozark Mountains there chanced to live twin sisters. As they grew from childhood into womanhood, each the companion of the other, living close to the heart of Nature, they became like the surroundings in which they lived—charming.
It again so happened that just across the way twin brothers roamed the hills together about the same time, and grew into the strength of young manhood, the life of each intertwined in that of each other.
Cupid played his old, yet ever new, game and the twin sisters and the twin brothers became a quartet.
The climax of our story is that each was naturally endowed with a wonderful voice, and after years of culture and training, the Loveless Quartette stands unique both in personelle and platform ability.
Their program consists of vocal numbers in quartet, trio, duo and solo, with variety ranging from novelty to classic. They appear in a very pleasing musical sketch.
