ANNOUNCEMENT
WITH natural fitness, thorough musical education and experience in public appearance the Artists Trio will sustain the reputation of this bureau for presenting only attractions whose special talent entitles them to public recognition. Each one is a capable soloist, and their ensemble work enables them to give a delightfully varied program. Their recitals are so planned as to please all persons having refined musical tastes, whether trained musicians or not. We take pleasure in offering them as a very strong attraction.
MRS. IVA BEULAH BUCK, SOPRANO AND READER
Figure
F. E. HOPKINS, Pastor Pilgrim Congregational Church, Chicago.
We have engaged only the best talent at our church. For lecturers we have had Gunsalus and Wendling; for musical attractions we have had Camprani and Boston Quartette; for entertainers we have had Opie Reede and Catherine Ridgeway; consequently much was expected of Mrs. Beulah Buck. She more than fulfilled our expectations.
Mrs. Buck has a clear and brilliant mezzo soprano voice, which, coupled with her dramatic talent, enables her to sing with pleasing expression either in the operatic arias or the popular songs and ballads. In her readings she does not strive for heavy elocutionary effects, but gives such bits of personation as make a pleasing variety to an evening's program.
WILLIAM WADE HINSHAW, Fres. Chicago Conservatory.
It gives me great pleasure to speak of the ability of my pupil, Mrs. Iva Beulah Buck. She is a most delightful entertainer both as songstress and reader and will please any kind of an audience.
ST. LOUIS REPUBLIC

MISS LIVINGSTON, VIOLINIST
Figure
No instrument can compare with the violin in touching the human heart-strings with its magic spell and no instrument responds so intimately to the touch of the artist. The many Lyceum and Chautauqua audiences that have been thrilled by her playing is sufficient guarantee of the merit of Miss Livingston's musical ability. In Chicago her reputation is established as a musician of distinction. We are fortunate in being able to present her.
EVANSVILLE COURIER
The first appearance of the Comus Club was made by one of its members, Miss Livingston, who rendered a violin solo, accompanied by the piano. She is a finished master of the strings and was compelled to respond to several encores.
SOUTH BEND NEWS
Concerning her playing last evening, the temper of the audience will justify the statement that no violinist of her age has ever appeared here with such genuine success in recent years, if ever. Her bowing is especially fine; and that, coupled with a keene sense of intonation and rythm, gives to her work the mark of distinction.
EVANSVILLE NEWS
The audience were enthusiastically delighted with her playing. If she should ever visit this city again she will be be assured of a capacity house.
SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE
Miss Alice Livingston, an artistic violinist, of Chicago, gave two numbers, the first and second movements of Vieuxtemps Concerto No. 4 and a double number, The Swan Song and Hungarian Dance, and was each time obliged to respond to an encore.
OWENSBORO INQUIRER
Miss Livingston's violin solo showed her to be an artist of no mean ability.
Miss Livingston, in violin selections, has won the hearts of Owensboro music lovers, as was demonstrated by her receptions yesterday.
MISS BLANCHE GOODNOW, PIANIST
Figure
Miss Blanche Goodnow received her early musical education at St. Marys of the Woods College, Terre Haute, Ind., where she was graduated with the highest honors. She was later a member of the Chicago Musical College and has done a great deal of studio and recital work. Her playing is marked by a very pleasing style, excellent technique and tone. Both her solos and her accompaniments show a broad and masterful musical talent which will insure her a friendly reception.

I wish you great success and trust to have the opportunity to present you again in the near future at Cable Hall.
