THE FLOYD FEATHERSTON COMPANY
The
return date
is the crucial test of any Lyceum attraction. Attractively arranged advertising matter in the hands of a suave, shrewd representative will frequently secure a first engagement for an attraction of inferior ability. The real test comes when the
same
representative goes back to the
same
town to secure a second engagement for the
same
attraction.
The Floyd Featherston Company is preeminently a
Return Date
Company and we have every reason to feel proud of their record. As a matter of fact, a
first
engagement usually means an
annual
return.
Mr. Featherston and his efficient assistants, the Sipher Sisters, give a performance that is not duplicated by any other combination. It is distinctly a musical novelty entertainment of the highest order. At one moment you are listening to a beautiful Mandolin Solo, a Banjo Duet, then may follow the Marimbaphone, the Sleigh Bells, the Swiss Bells, Four-in-Hand Bells, Xylophone, the mellow and sweet Marimba, and familiar Piano, interspersed here and there with solos, duets, and trios on other instruments ranging all the way from boards fresh from the lumber pile to the magnificent and delightful Organ Chimes and the melodious Musical Glasses.
The music embraces the better grade of popular as well as classical selections, and running through the entire program is a stream of humor and sentiment that makes the evening end all too quickly. We absolutely guarantee this company will give entire satisfaction.
