The Cartwright Quartette
TWINS are not uncommon, but it is seldom they are found in the ranks of accomplished musicians. The Cartwright Brothers have studied music from the time their baby fingers could first hold the instruments. Although playing many with equal skill, the twins have specialized on the cornet and trombone. Long continued association with music and musicians has made them especially proficient in their art. Their brass duets and solos are remarkable for smoothness and purity of tone.
Arthur E. Wohlrab, violinist, and Edward C. Ryan, pianist, are associated with the Cartwrights forming an instrumental quartette. The program is replete with novelties and offers one surprise after another. Their versatility is best illustrated by their program. Besides descriptive and ensemble numbers of cornet, trombone, violin, 'cello and piano, there is the unusual feature of a xylophone solo and duet. They render many unique numbers. Singing by the entire quartette through electric megaphones adds a pleasing, distinctive feature. Their ability as clever musicians coupled with such a variety of selections make them an attractive number on any course.

The Cartwright Brothers made the biggest hit of the season. They displayed harmony and skill in every department of their work, and all who have heard them hope to hear them again in the near future. They introduced many features, among which were the cornet and trombone duets by the twin Cartwrights. They can furnish an evening's entertainment unaided.
