DURNO,
The Mysterious,
was an interesting novelty, the attraction was much more than pleasing, each feature of the entertainment elicited a generous measure of applause. The program was nicely arranged and comprised a number of mystifying and original sleight-of-hand ideas that were truly meritorious. The entire performance was so fresh and cleverly done that each patron felt a lively interest in each succeeding deception.
Mt. Pleasant (Mich.) Courier-Democrat
DURNO
,
The Mysterious,
& Co., who appeared here last night, was a whirlwind of wonders. They came, we saw—or rather we didn't—they conquered. They made us think we needed glasses and set our ears a-tingling. Was it worth the price of admission? That is easily answered by stating that the largest number of people that have ever been congregated beneath one roof in Mt. Pleasant witnessed that performance of mirth, magic, music and ventriloquism.

DURNO
, magician, succeeded in mystifying a large audience at Stone's Opera House last night. His illusions are up-to-date, and he performs them so artistically as to completely baffle the closest observer. Some of his tricks are little short of marvelous and his program was altogether one of the best ever presented in this city.
The St. Joseph Gazette-Herald
An immense audience greeted
DURNO
,
The Mysterious,
& Co., at the Toole Theater Monday night. It was pronounced one of the very best of the excellent attractions on the Y. M. C. A. Lyceum Course and General Secretary Lloyd is to be congratulated on having secured it. The theater was packed from pit to dome and the ushers handled the large crowd with expedition and without hitch or confusion. The character of the amusement was excellent in every particular.
DURNO
, the magician, may, without the slightest exaggeration, be pronounced the equal of Hermann the Great in his palmiest days. He put new twists on some of Hermann's old tricks and performed many original feats that would have set old Hermann guessing, could he have witnessed them.
