THE BOYDS
Ernst Henri Boyd
Blanche Ferman Boyd
In Songs, Instrumental Music · Humorous Sketches
THE BOYDS have been upon the lyceum platform for nearly ten years. For five consecutive years they have been under one management, three years under another, and this is their second year with the Redpath bureau. The Boyds have appeared in most of the states of the Union before both critical and popular audiences. Only companies which make good can stand the test of ten years upon the platform.
As vocalists, Mrs. Boyd is a soprano, Mr. Boyd a baritone. Both are pianists. Mr. Boyd is one of the cleverest of readers, and the two present in costume, sketches which at once interest and captivate an audience.
There are no waits in the program of this company. Rendered with style and finish, one number follows another until an hour and forty-five minutes have passed. It seems however, but forty-five minutes to the audience.
The voices of the Boyds blend beautifully. They have studied and sung together since they were children and their musical repertoire is almost unlimited. The readings range from the heavy dramatic and oratorical numbers to the humorous. The sketch Mrs. Gadabout's Busy Day presented by the Boyds occupies forty minutes.

PART II
Mrs. Gadabout's Busy Day A Duologue Comedietta
This sketch is one of several presented by the Boyds. It is full of life and go from the very beginning, introducing the most laughable situations, yet giving ample opportunity for the artists to show their ability in rightly interpreting characters. These sketches are strictly high class, written especially for the Boyds, and given in pleasing costumes.
VOICE—Popular Medley
