What People and Managers Say
I have known Mr. Fred E. Waters for the past ten years and have watched his development during that time as a musician. He is a careful student and a young musical director who never fails to reach the most unresponsive and discriminating audiences. His band of musicians seem to feel the interpretation which he desires and to meet his requirements as one man, the tones of each instrument making a complete and perfect ensemble.
Mr. Waters is dependable, accurate, responsible, courteous and accommodating.
E. A. BAKER, Ex State Representative.
Vice President of the St. Joseph Valley
Chautauqua Association.
While yet a young man, Mr. Fred E. Waters is without doubt one of the most successful bandmasters before the public. As a programme builder he has few equals and puts forth the same enthusiasm in directing a popular air as he does the standard classics. His band never fails to please the most critical.
ROBERT E. PROCTOR, Indiana State Senator.
Member St. Joseph Valley Chautauqua Ass'n.
South Bend, Indiana, October 13, 1910.

Waters Concert Band
Elkhart, Indiana
Dear Sir:-
Since closing up our accounts for the season's service which you have rendered us at both our Spring-brook Park, South Bend and Bluff Side Park, La Porte, I wish to express my appreciation of the services which you have rendered at both the above places. The services which you have rendered have, I know, been appreciated by the patrons who have been patronizing these parks and drew large crowds at your entertainments.
I shall be very glad to negotiate with you again this coming season for band service which we will require at our parks.
Yours very truly,
F. H. CUTSHALL.

Mr. Fred E. Waters, Bandmaster,
Waters Concert Band
Elkhart, Ind.
Dear Sir:—
I wish to take this opportunity of thanking you for the efforts of you and your band in behalf of my son and myself.
Your concerts were thoroughly appreciated by us, also the patrons of our Park, as manifested by the enormous attendance and applause given. The attendance was even larger this season than it was the first season you played for us.
Should we again have the park for the coming season we hope we can secure the service of your band.
Thanking you again, we are,
Yours respectfully,
W. J. STAMP & SON,
Managers I. P.
WHAT THE EATON, OHIO, DAILY HERALD SAYS OF THE WATERS CONCERT BAND.
Just one word to our readers who are lovers of music.
You should congratulate yourselves and thank the Fair Board for affording you an opportunity to hear the justly celebrated band composed of the best professional talent in the country, lovers of music themselves. They delight in furnishing the very latest in a manner that will thrill, soothe and satisfy all who appreciate the best.
WHAT THE PRESS SAYS
The severe weather caused many who had intended to attend the concert to stay at home, but those who braved the icy blasts felt fully repaid for the concert was a splendid success in every particular.—
Elkhart Daily Review, Jan. 20th, 1910.
The Waters' Band gave a splendid concert in interest of charity last night. They gave a two hours concert on the Bucklen Balcony, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the hundreds of people who gathered. The band consists of twenty people and is under the able leadership of Fred E. Waters.—
Elkhart Daily Truth, March, 1910.
Another feature of the fair, the Elkhart band, is being favorably commented upon. There surely is some class to its music and that this is readily appreciated is indicated by the generous applause given after each number by the throngs of people.—
The Eaton Democrat, Eaton, O., Sept. 15th, 1910.
The Elkhart band of eighteen pieces, which furnishes the music, has already indicated its ability by rendering an abundance of fine music. The organization has a variety of good stuff, and their alertness and willingness to give a plentiful and pleasing program is already noted. The organization gave an interesting concert Tuesday evening in the court house park, and was greatly enjoyed by a large crowd.—
The Eaton Daily Herald, Eaton, O., Sept. 14th, 1910.
Waters' Elkhart Band, of eighteen men, is furnishing the music and if you want to have your musical nature inspired and elevated, hear them. They are thorough musicians and gentlemen in every respect. The band is increasing in popularity in Eaton.—
The Eaton Register, Eaton, O., Sept. 15, 1910.
The concert given by the Waters' Concert Band under the direction of Fred E. Waters, at the Bucklen Theatre, Sunday, was an excellent one.—
Elkhart Daily Truth, Jan. 20th, 1910.

WHY THE WATERS CONCERT BAND WAS ORGANIZED
It has been a long-felt need for a band that would fill the vast space between the large Concert Bands and the small Band and Orchestra combinations.
The large concert bands are prohibitive in price to most communities, while the small band and orchestra combinations cannot play a band programme on account of their limited instrumentation. Knowing this to be the case is why Mr. Waters organized THE WATERS CONCERT BAND. Sufficiently large to play the standard classics and small enough to fit the treasury of any successful Fair or Park.
The Waters' Concert Band has a uniform for platform work and one for street appearance
